How to use a name tracing worksheet

Print one sheet a day rather than a stack: five focused minutes daily builds the motor pattern faster than a marathon session. Have the child say each letter aloud while tracing it, and finish every session by writing the name once on the last row without dots. The fade-out option automates exactly that: full dots on early rows, fainter guides lower down, independence at the bottom.

A note on letter formation

Tracing teaches the shape; you teach the stroke order. Watch the first few letters of each session: most habits worth correcting (starting letters from the bottom, drawing circles clockwise) are easiest to fix in the first month and stubborn after a year.
